Three smaller sandblasted HDU signs. "Clark Iron & Metal" is interesting for the "metal" paint effect. "Millbrook Boats" looks just like a clear-finished wood sign. The difference is this HDU sign will stay looking like new for years to come, with zero maintenance, despite being outside in a very cold climate.

How They're Made:

Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates.

What They Cost:

Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include  screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot.

How to Get One:

Fax a sketch, or email a description,  describing  your requirements. Include as much information as you have, including dimensions (approximate of precise), logos or art to be included, and color preferences. We will prepare a firm price quote and fax or email  it back. There is no charge for this service.
