A pair of interesting commercial signs, both about 4' wide. "Granite Ridge Kennels" features some of Rich Storey's usual top-quality painting on the dogs, based on artwork emailed by the client.
"Elms Inn" is kind of a classic design, we've done before. It has multi-level lettering, with the centers routed down smooth below the outlines. It also features a 3d carved schooner in the center.
In both cases, the pressure-treated wood support structure is visible protruding out the sides. We often build these for sandblasted HDU signs that are to be freestanding. They provide necessary structural support, and facilitate mounting between vertical posts.

How They're Made:

Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates.

What They Cost:

Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include  screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot.

How to Get One:

Fax a sketch, or email a description,  describing  your requirements. Include as much information as you have, including dimensions (approximate of precise), logos or art to be included, and color preferences. We will prepare a firm price quote and fax or email  it back. There is no charge for this service.
