This 4'x 8' sandblasted sign was ordered over the internet and shipped, via truck, to New Jersey. It features some detailed hand-painting on the "Viking" character and gold outlining around the larger letters.

This is another relatively large sign ordered over the web. This time somewhat different than what we most often do. Routed signs are fastened to a backing of 2" cedar. Strawberries were shaped from a 3" thick block of redwood, then painted.

How They're Made:

Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates.

What They Cost:

Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include  screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot.

How to Get One:

Fax a sketch, or email a description,  describing  your requirements. Include as much information as you have, including dimensions (approximate of precise), logos or art to be included, and color preferences. We will prepare a firm price quote and fax or email  it back. There is no charge for this service.
