The sign on the left was built for a local attorney. We built a pair and mounted them to each side of a low brick wall. There is another border, finished in deep blue, around the outside which doesn't show well in the photo. |

This sign is about 48" wide. It was ordered over the internet. The client chose the colors, which I felt would be a little garish, but the finished sign is quite attractive and certainly provides a good degree of visibility. |
| How They're Made: | |
Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates. |
| What They Cost: | |
Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot. |
