The city of Titusville, prompted by the EPA, has been upgrading their entire sewage treatment system to state-of-the-art. Part of that is a new pumping station right in the middle of a very exclusive riverfront neighborhood. They built a fancy victorian-style building around the pumps, and were so proud, they asked us to make a nice sign to match. |
Another order that came thru via the internet, this sign is about 48" wide. A simple, pleasing layout with sandblasted lettering above, and routed at the bottom. We seem to have a difficult time getting good pictures of forest green, but that is the color of the lettering and border. The background is finished with white. |

| How They're Made: | |
Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates. |
| What They Cost: | |
Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot. |
