Another pair of sandblasted HDU signs built for churches. Both are fairly large (about 7' wide). "The Church in St. Louis" is finished with a driftwood effect background. You can see the pressure-treated wood support structure protruding out the sides. This adds important structural strength, and makes it easy to mount sign onto the back of either matching painted wood, or vinyl-covered wood posts. |
| How They're Made: | |

Sandblasted sign faces are most often made of HDU, or high-density urethane. This material has been proven superior to redwood in long-term exterior durability. Backgrounds are sandblasted in dramatic wood grain patterns using special jigs. Structural reinforcement is included, as required, using pressure-treated lumber. All surfaces are sealed, then finished with top-quality paints and stains designed for extended outside exposure in a variety of climates. |

Our cost for each project is based on $60 per square foot. This cost is for a fully finished one-sided sign, designed and finished to your specifications. Signs finished on both sides are always thicker, usually include screw-eyes or integral pressure-treated wood frames, and are generally priced at $110.00 per square foot. |
