"The Stable..." has nothing to do with horses. It was built for the Virginia Air National Guard. Someone on their end did the design work, we converted it to a 6' wide sandblasted sign.
We've build many signs for the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South Carolina. This particular sign, about 4' high, is designed for a freestanding installation. The pressure-treated wood support structure, permanently fastened to the back of the sign, is visible protruding out the sides. This provides structural strength, and makes it a simple matter to install the sign between vertical posts.
Layouts for all signs at the Riverbanks Zoo are sent to us as importable computer files. We often work with graphic arts professionals, building sandblasted signs to their specifications at a discount.
