P5 SignPost

This support post kit is suitable for sandblasted HDU signs, finished on either one side or both, up to 4'x 8' (48" x 80" illustrated at left).
Included are: two 4.75" x 106" PVC/vinyl posts with decorative "ball" tops, each with pressure-treated wood cores, all necessary hardware and assembly instructions.
We custom-build pressure-treated wood pieces that are fastened inside the vinyl posts, and
cut post-slots to fit your sign, making it easy to assemble, but installation does involve digging two post-holes and 2-4 40lb bags of cement.

For each sandblasted HDU sign designed to be freestanding, we custom build a support frame of pressure-treated wood and laminate it to the sign face.

In the case illustrated, a frame built to fit our P5 post kit, the two 2x4 horizontal supports protrude 4.5" on each side.

They slide thru slots cut thru the inside surface of 4.75" x 106" PVC/vinyl posts, and are fastened from the outside with galvanized deck screws.
For each sign order, the frame is built to match the sign, and the post slots are cut to match the frame.

Ground supports fit snugly up inside posts. They are made of pressure-treated 2x, "T"-shaped, and a minimum of 5' long. Galvanized deck screws secure them to the sign/post assembly.

For installation, ground supports need to be set into holes about 24" deep, and surrounded with cement.
