L6-02 signs are made of HDU, an extremely durable material designed expressly for exterior signage (for more information, see our HDU info page).  Background areas are sandblasted away; leaving lettering and border standing out. "Art design" area is routed down smooth, then hand-painted. All surfaces are primed, then painted with top-quality finishes, designed for extended exterior use

Each features an original painting by Rich Storey. Browse the samples to see which lettering layout and color combination would work best for you. If there's a painting you like, Rich will reproduce (or customize) it. He can create a painting using an emailed photo as a guide, or even an original composition based on your written description. Customers often request deer be included on their signs. Above are three different designs, each including a buck. The white-cedar-green color combination (illustrated on the left and right) is the most popular, but the white-blue-grey looks good too, with some water and a sunset. It's usually best to leave the lettering layout up to us, unless you have a real strong preference. This allows us the freedom to make each sign look the best it can, no matter what the text required. If you like the art on one of these, refer to it in the "notes" field on the order form.
